Asus has launched its latest Fonepad 7 tablet in India at a price of Rs 8,999. The 3G voice calling tablet which was unveiled in international markets earlier in April.
The Asus Fonepad 7 sports a 7-inch WSVGA 1024 × 600 pixels display with a pixel density of 169ppi and is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 ‘Clover Trail+’ dual-core processor with Intel Hyper-Threading technology.
The Fonepad 7 also features 1GB of RAM, 4GB and 8GB storage variants, expandable microSD card slot up to 64GB, 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera and up to 10 hours of battery life. It has dual-SIM card slots with 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean wrapped under Asus’ ZenUI. The company has also promised that the OS is up-gradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
