Much rumored Sony Xperia Z3 spotted for TENNA certification in China. As a part of its certification in China, company revealed the specs and image and spotted on TENNA’s official website. TENNA is China’s equivalent to the FCC. As usual with the agency, the specs of the phone being certified are revealed.
As far as specification concern, the Sony Xperia Z3 is said to be powered by a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU and not octa core. In compare with Xperia Z2 which is packed with quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801, this is a bit faster. The Xperia Z3 features a 5.2 inch 1080 X 1920 pixels IPS LCD screen. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of in-built storage, and a microSD slot is available for further memory expansion. The 20.7MP camera on back powered by a Sony Exmor sensor, and there is a 2MP front-facing shooter that can shoot video in 1080p.
The Sony Xperia Z3 will be water resistant same like it’s predecessor Xperia Z2, although the IP certification number is not known. The Xperia Z2 has IP58 rating, which allows the device to withstand a dunking to nearly 5 feet of water, for as long as 30 minutes. We expect the upcoming model will have an IP58 rating certification at the least. The handset will be available in black, white and amber.
