HTC Desire Eye selfie-focused smartphone with 13 MP front facing camera with dual LED flash launched by HTC in the company’s Desire range. The smartphone packs with 13 MP camera on both side and both front and rear cameras are accompanied by dual-LED flash. HTC claims that, this is “one of the best front-facing cameras available on the market today.”
The Desire EYE features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 wrapped under HTC Sense UI. Both the front-facing and rear cameras can shoot 1080p@30fps videos. While the rear camera features a f/2.0 aperture and a 28mm lens, the front-facing camera features a f/2.2 aperture with a 20mm lens.
It’s not just about the hardware though. The HTC has also introduced EYE Experience, which takes mobile imaging software into a new league with unique features guaranteed to make you look your best. It includes features like split capture, crop-me-in, and voice selfie among others.
It has dual front-facing stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers, similar to other HTC smartphones, but it is hardly visible since it is close to the bezel. It has 3 microphones for enhanced background noise cancellation.

It has connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC. Like the recently announced Butterfly 2, the Desire EYE too is waterproof and has bright, dual color ubibody design.
